About US

Horses have been a part of Kadence's life for as long as she can remember—she first sat on a horse at just six weeks old thanks to her aunt (and founder of GS Arrow) Stephanie. What started as a childhood connection grew into a lifelong passion, shaping who she is today. Fast forward almost 21 years, that passion has now become the foundation of her own business ventures, built on years of experience, respect for the horse, and a deep love for the western community.

GS Arrow is a place we can all come together and share our love for these magnificent animals while fostering a welcoming community, sharing knowledge and fun moments. Contact us today to see how you can join our family!

Our History

Starting out in Michigan, GS Arrow slowly traveled west into Idaho before making their way down to Arizona. Here, GS Arrow has set its roots and blossomed along with our instructor who is originally from California.

Meet Our Instructor and Manager

Hello everyone! My name is Kadence Gruno, and I am a 20-year-old resident of Casa Grande, Arizona (originally from California).  I have been riding horses my entire life, having first sat on a horse when I was six weeks old, and it has quickly become my passion. I am very involved in the rodeo community as both a barrel racer and rodeo queen. Over the past six years, I have held three titles: 2019 Miss SJCHA Jr. Queen, 2023 Miss SJCHA Queen and 2025 Miss Truckee Pro Rodeo Queen. Throughout those six years, I have also run lessons and camps as well as coaching competitive gymnastics for three. Teaching is such a huge part of who I am, not just to share what I know, but to help uplift, encourage and inspire confidence in others.
